Today is the day we celebrate being workers. No matter the job, no matter the place. If we are working we are making worth, both for ourselves and others.

oh she was totally my hero...
I was Dolly for halloween in 6th grade...and my Ma approved..can you believe
I read Dolly's autobiography once. Did you know that when she was a child, she stepped on (was it glass, maybe?) something, either way, her toes were filleted open, and a man had to hold her down while her mama sewed her foot up with regular needle and thread? OWSA!!
I wanted desperately to play 'He's Gonna Marry Me' before my wedding ceremony, but thought it hit just a little too close to home with Berg's mom. haha. And, I didn't want to offend my new MIL.
Damn, I wish I'd played it.
I love Dolly Parton, too. Probably for different reasons than you though.
