I ask my kids, "Which is your favorite holiday, Halloween or Christmas?"
Hands down, it's Halloween.
They dress up, they get candy. Pretty sweet indeed.
So, what's yours?

Without question, it's Halloween. I wish I could decorate for Halloween all year long!
As a child, it was Christmas.
As an Adult, HALLOWEEN.
I get to dress Donna up and do bad things to her.
I'm with your kids. Halloween, hands-down. Carving pumpkins, witches, werewolves, vampires, ghosts, goblins, cemeteries, black cats...
What does Christmas have? An old white dude in a red suit? No contest.
Halloween. It's more Satan-y. Plus which xmas is all about religion and greed and family, none of which I like. But boiled custard is good, or it was before the stores stopped carrying it.
I believe that Halloween is the new 'religious' holiday of the 22nd Century. It is more universal and is now embraced by BOTH children and adults (just used to be a kid thing). This year we will be putting a huge blow-up spider on top of our house and covering the whole front lawn in spider webs. For Christmas.....I think we might head to Mexico and sit on the beach.
