Anniversary Pose
A midday sun broke through the windowed walls,
Lighting your inky mesh shorts and sweaty chest.
We are twisted half way round,
Sitting back into an absent chair.
The heat in this room is cranked on high
Making mush from our mylonite muscles.
Side by side we posture and pose
Making our bodies be planks, wheels and bows.
My eyes close and my jaw goes soft,
Bubbles of energy bursting inside.
My breath grows long, taming all of this-
that I feel for you.
Nine years ago, I was made a wife;
With you for a man, my husband.
You have made me more than me.
And my love still swells when next to you-
Because I am all yours.

Happy Anniversary!
It is made of awesome that you two perform yoga together.
I may be able to pick up a wash machine with no effort but the wheel kicks my ass. I do pretty darn good cobra though....
Happy Anniversary to you and the Mister!
Happy Anniversary!
I love your Yoga LOVE poem to your husband, very sweet and special.
Hope you have 100 more Anniversaries together (well, as long as they are 100 healthy years!)
Savage: Yeah, word up there. I'm a firm believer there is tough, but then there is yoga tough. I use to do Bikram yoga but no classes around here for that. so, now I do the power vinyasa yoga ;)
work it!
Earl: Thank ya Earl! And you should comment more often ;)
Sue: Thank you too! ;)
