Dr. Horrible and Penny sing my dilemma outloud



This week was probably the most trying I've had at work. I see a lot and feel a lot. Then, I'm reminded that I'm just one part of this huge interplay between ugly and beautiful. And I, being a wee human being, can only cause so much goodness to grow. It's humbling. And achingly frustrating. I can only help so much.

I'm not a superhero.


And it all comes down to this, which am I going to let rise up inside me? Defeat or hope?

Guess which one I choose.

It's hope and beauty by the way. Because that's what Mrs. Hall is made of :)

    When you say you've had a bad week at work, I know it's in a whole different realm than when most of us say it. I'm sorry;I hope this week is better. As an RN who's now working in the library, I have to say I miss the fast paced energy of caring for very sick people, but don't miss the politics. I get my people fix at the library. But what you do is another world...

    I don't know what this singing blog thing is, but my daughter has turned me on to Neil Patrick Harris, so I clicked on the clip and loved it. What is is from??

    Maureen: Yeah, being a nurse is one of the more emotionally evocative jobs on the planet. My task is not to get swallowed up! ;)

    ah, I watched this with my seven year old-but we are kind of liberal with such things ;)
