cable channels.

This is like crack to me. Crack in HD no less.

There is this show, called John and Kate plus eight. And, turns out, it is a really good show. It is a mom and dad plus eight kids. The Dad on the show wears ear plugs when he drives the kids.

Jeff, I mean Mr. Hall, is a fan of ear plugs.

Here he is with Pancake at age 5 months.

It is six am in this photo.

He is the best Dad in the whole wide world.

I miss you sweetheart.

See you tomorrow.

  1. Hey Geo-Joe:

There is one time I used the ear plugs. My daughter slept through the night at 6 weeks, my son? Well it took him a solid year.

Now, Mac has a room next to us and a Mom's nervous system is directly connected with the offspring. So even if he wasn't 'awake' and just messing around in his crib, not even crying, I would still wake up and listen to him.

I was very VERY reluctant to try the ear plugs but they did work. You still hear the kid, they just aren't as loud.

good luck on your new Daddy adventures!

I will try to unlock more Daddy advice from Jeff.

    :)

  4. As I work nights I depend on ear plugs to get a decent days sleep.
They sure do come in handy sometimes for when the kids are loud too.

  5. Slyde: yes, it is crack. And really, I will be glad when it is gone.

Michelle J: He really is an angel to me.

James: I use to work nights, whew! But I was a lot younger and able to fall asleep standing up.
